Face Massage Courses
Transbuccal (intra-oral) Massage and Eye & Forehead Lift Program.
Transbuccal massage is an authentic method developed by Dr. Sergey Shchurevich.
It is a new approach for reshaping and remodeling the mid and lower part of the face.
Transbuccal facial massage by Dr. Sergey Shchurevich is a new approach to remodelling of the middle and lower part of the face.
Origin of terminology comes from Latin language:
trans - through
buccalis - cheeks.
The name of the technique indicates that the massage is performed on both sides of the soft tissues of the cheeks, both on the oral side and on the outer layer of the skin.
During transbuccal massage course, you will learn what makes it possible to restore volume, tone and elasticity to the deepest muscle bundles of the buccal and nasolabial areas. Freeing the interstitial spaces from unnecessary fluid and improving the structure of the connective tissues.
The transbuccal massage is the most intensive and profound way of affecting the deep tissues of the lower and middle face areas, with the aim of correcting the complex forms of changes occurring during the skin ageing process.
Recommendations for transbuccal massage: ✓ correction of deformational-dystrophic types of ageing; ✓ scar tissue and post-traumatic soft tissue deformations; ✓ pareosis (paresis) and facial muscle paralysis (only during rehabilitation after strokes and infectious diseases); ✓ hypertonus (excessive tension) of the facial muscles; ✓ chronic facial oedema due to lipodystrophy (atrophy or significant reduction of adipose tissue); ✓ restoration of the muscular corset after dental bite correction. |

This method is especially beneficial when working with facial paresis and paralysis, scarring lesions, permanent muscle spasm. It will also be extremely useful for correction in the case of ageing types characterised by deformities and dystrophic changes, when there is displacement of the facial fat capsules, their expansion and their fibrotic changes.
Bilateral buccal massage is the most intensive way of affecting the soft tissues of the lower and middle part of the face, throughout their entire thickness.
When practising the transbuccal massage technique, it is important to remember that we are working deeply on the entire surface of the soft tissues of the middle and lower face.
Basic requirements for performing a transbuccal massage:
✓ increased hygiene (aseptic)
✓ prevention of mucosal damage
✓ exclusion of mucosal contact with irritating cosmetic ingredients
✓ in case of combined cosmetic treatments, start with transbuccal massage first
✓ adequate mental and physical state of the patient.
An intensive 3 - days training "Transbuccal face massage" is an original method developed by Dr. Sergey Shchurevich and has been further enriched with the Eye & Forehead Lift Programme.
This technique is particularly suitable for the lifting of the eyelids and forehead areas, especially in zones with high facial activity. Here, a more gentle on-surface approach is needed, aimed to correct the depth of wrinkles, sagging of the upper eyelids and the resumption of skin activity and elasticity.
The adaptation of the lifting massage of the eyelids and forehead occurs at the level of the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system (SMAS) at an intensive pace. It creates a neuro-reflex effect of toning the muscular tissues, removes facial tightness, upholds the brow line and significantly evens out skin relief.
The knowledge and experience shared by Dr. Sergey Shchurevich will help you master the art of massage and become more proficient in your own profession.
